"The Doctor Is In"

Another week goes by and another little column for the fans (if we have any faithful readers yet). So this week I have been enjoying the TV series "Supernatural". which is very odd for me due to the fact that I really don't get much in to series. The only series that I can remember my self getting into this much was the "X-Files" and any of the "X-Files"fans out there can remember that the show really plummeted from what it once stood for towards the end of the series. So this is why I think that I haven't really gotten into a series since then. Or even if I did get into a series the show was usually canned so I never really got a chance to get attached to the show. But this one is extremely good just check out my review for it. It's one I see my self getting attached to.

So as we move closer towards Halloween this is great time to dig out the horror films in your collection to give a watch through. Or you can get some good stuff on the good old TV but sometimes at least for my self I really can't watch them with all the stuff the edited out of the films so they can put them on the air. Sometimes I just need to see the real deal. But in case you haven't seen something or wanted to give something the chance and they are airing on network TV go for it. I my self have done that with a couple and have come across a couple of gems my self.

So yeah we missed a week form updating( see howlin' Dave's page) but we are back and we should have some new reviews for you by Sunday. then it's back to our regular schedule of Wednesday posts from that time on in.


So i'm not sure if it's just me but this year so far has lacked horror on the big screen. We have Saw five coming up and a couple of others but we are more so getting a taste of whats to come next year, and some of it looks pretty good. Don't get me wrong you have had a couple of films this year, but nothing that really grabbed my attention. One of the ones that did look interesting got a little bit of the shaft, of course i'm talking about Clive Barkers Midnight Meat Train(look for my review to come in the next couple of days). From what I have heard it had only hit select theater and that was about it for that movie. So yes heres my fingers crossed for next year as I hope we get some pretty decent stuff to rush out and see.It looks we we will have our hands full with movies.

"The Doctor Is In"

Welcome one and welcome all to my weekly column. First I would like to start off by saying welcome to our website and that I hope that you all
enjoy the site as much as we have enjoyed piecing it together for all of you. It was a long time in the making for this and now we are finally off the ground.

I have been a fan of horror films for pretty much all of my life. Even when I was little I can remember enjoying horror films and haunted house attractions.
As I grew up over the years I spanned across not only just mainstream films but alot of underground horror films. Trying to get my hands on what ever I could watch. Some of them being really good and some of them not as good but all enjoyable and still fun . So then it came to me that I wish that I could have a site that I could pass on films that I my self had enjoyed or didn't care for on to other fans of the horror genre. So with that thought thats when I involved one of my good friends Howling Dave, a fellow fan of this genre in on this project of mine. Thats when what was just an idea took shape and grew wings. We went to work listing ideas for the site and what we would like to see on here. So that brings us to today with our new site up and running we promise to bring you great reviews for films you've seen or may have never seen or even heard of, or maybe something you weren't sure on but wanted to check out.

We welcome feedback on our site, films you might want us to review or just any question feel free to comment us below. So again in this short edition of "The Doctor Is In" again welcome and to all of you fans of this wonderful genre and we hope you enjoy and see you all next week.
